2. Discovery or readiness assessment

Fixed fee, 1–2 weeks. Interviews, repo/platform review, risk register, and a 90-day plan you can use even if you pause.
3. Pilot (2–6 weeks)

One pipeline, one landing zone slice, one modernization strangler — something working in your environment.
4. Scale or retainer

Expand the roadmap, or keep a senior bench for platform stewardship and continuous improvement.

Named practitioners — you meet the people who will do the work.
Written decisions — ADRs and runbooks, not tribal knowledge.
Opinionated defaults — we recommend a path; we don’t drown you in options.
